Terms of use

1. This website is a confidential online tool operated by Deloitte to enable Arauco employees, third parties, customers, suppliers and partners to question and report suspected violations of the Code of Ethics, its policies, internal procedures of ARAUCO, as well as applicable laws and regulations. We recommend using this channel so that you can record any complaint in a comfortable and safe way.

2. To ensure the proper functioning of this reporting channel, we request to provide only information that you know, whether correct and real. It should be noted that ARAUCO will not take any action for complaints made in good faith, even if, later, they prove incorrect or unfounded.

3. However, the intentional provision of false or misleading information is something that will not be tolerated by ARAUCO.

4. What kind of information is collected? The Reporting Channel receives the following information:

I) Situations that are contrary to the Code of Ethics, the law or the company's procedures and standards, including all relevant facts and details;

II) Names, positions and workplace of all individuals mentioned in the complaint;

III) Any questions you may have regarding the Code of Ethics and the operation of the ARAUCO Complaints Channel.

IV) If desired, you can inform your name and contact information (So that we can clarify any doubts and / or ask for more details about the investigation).

How will the information be used?

The information provided will be stored on servers hosted by Deloitte in Brazil. Unless otherwise required by law, information may be analyzed and used only by persons participating in the investigation. These include those responsible for the Ethics Committee of ARAUCO, the Chief Compliance Officer, Crime Prevention officers, external consultants working on the investigation, and the Deloitte team responsible for providing the Complaints Channel service.

ARAUCO will evaluate all information and, if necessary, may conduct an investigation in which its cooperation and assistance may be necessary.

1. ARAUCO shall take appropriate technical, organizational and legal measures to protect the information provided. ARAUCO will also require Deloitte to adequately protect your personal data and not use it for unauthorized purposes.

2. The content, photographs, marks, titles, sounds, videos, data, are the property of Deloitte and/or ARAUCO, and its reproduction, transmission, exploitation, storage or any type of use is not authorized. The user assumes any and all liability, of a civil and/or criminal nature, for the misuse of any and all material of the site.

3. The provision of appropriate conditions of access to the Internet is the responsibility of the service provider contracted by the user for this purpose. In the event of loss of internet connection, at the time of recording a report and/or sending information, no compensation will be due by Deloitte.

4. The content of the reports completed in the electronic form of the website is the sole and exclusive responsibility of the user. Deloitte is not responsible for any damage allegedly arising from reports recorded by third parties.

5. Deloitte does not record the IP by which the user accessed the site.

6. Reports may be recorded anonymously whenever the user wishes.

7. Any unauthorized access to private areas of the site, as well as attempts or consummation of access to the source code, will be considered acts of violation, being properly treated in accordance with the criminal specification in force at the time and other regulations that apply.

ARAUCO values integrity, transparency and responsibility in all our relationships. Therefore, true and honest information and care for the ethical conduct of its leaders, employees, customers, suppliers and partners are considered fundamental aspects for the development of the Company.

Any act contrary to our Code of Ethics, which violates the policies we define, or that affects any of the people who are related to ARAUCO, deserves attention and should be reported in due course to the ARAUCO Complaints Channel.

The Complaints Channel is operated by Deloitte, a serious and independent company, responsible for ensuring the confidentiality of your information, ensuring that there is no registration of the IPs of computers that are used to make a complaint over the Internet.
